Bio

I was born in Bydgoszcz, Poland, in 1997. In 2017, where I finished Leon Wyczółkowski Art High School with a specialization in graphic design. Right after High School, I joined the commercial house “Blackfish Studio & Film” as a graphic designer, where I worked remotely for the next two years.

After an unsuccessful attempt to enroll in Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, I spent a year working as a graphic designer and developing my painting skills.

In 2018, I started studying painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. After the two-year course in the Basics of Painting and Drawing studio, I joined Henryk Cześnik’s atelier. During my studies, I exhibited in many individual and group exhibitions. I was organizing projects and was invited to run workshops. Some of my works were purchased for private collections in Warsaw and New York. For three years, I was an art resident in Halo Kultura, where I was granted a studio space. On my last year of studies, I joined the Bochinski Foundation, where I worked as a graphic designer and brand manager.

In 2023, I graduated Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk with distinction by organizing an exhibition “Archetype Archaeology”.

In 2024, I moved with my partner and my cat to Berlin.

For six month recipient of scholarship thanks to generosity of an art collector Anna Mikołajczyk.

Artist statement

In my work I mainly focus on philosophical topics, trying to explore spaces of particular kind of unease. Using a language of signs, shapes and carefully found forms I try to reach the most fundamental aspects of human existence, looking for things that are hard to capture with words. In my recent exhibition “Archetype Archaeology” I proposed the name “ pre-images searching” for a process of looking for Signs that indicate something familiar but hard to define. I believe that through that process I create my own artistic language which I wish to continue and develop. Through that language I hope to speak about the most universal of things.
