“Maps 2” is part of my “Archetype Archaeology” project, in which I tried to explore my deep interest in the world of signs and symbols. For a long time, I’ve been captivated by how these seemingly simple visual elements come to hold vast spaces of meaning and how they can stir deeply personal and sometimes obscure emotions within us. This fascination became one of the main pillars of my artistic practice and has been part of my artistic language ever since.

“Maps 2” and the other artworks from the series are a result of an ongoing research into the fundamental principles of the universe. It’s an invitation to contemplate the world through schematics written in the most basic of shapes.
