The “Enchantment” Exhibition was a key event during Bydgoszcz Design Days 2023. The exhibition’s visual identity was developed in collaboration with curator Konrad Kulczyński, focusing on the theme of light. The logo design drew inspiration from the natural phenomenon of light diffraction when interacting with fluid surfaces.
The exhibition was produced by the Bochinski Foundation and displayed for six months in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
Main motive
The exhibition created a unique dialogue between the modern curator Konrad Kluczyński and acclaimed Polish glass artist Jerzy Krysiak. The artworks were organized across eight stations, each with its own distinctive mark. To highlight the interplay between the curator’s narrative and Krysiak’s artistic inspiration, we developed two sets of signs: filled ones representing the main, modern narrative, and outlined ones telling Krysiak’s story.

Stations in icons
For each station, I created an icon that artistically interprets its content. This design solution helps visitors distinguish between stations and navigate the exhibition more easily by marking key points of interest.

Digital catalogue
The exhibition catalogue provides comprehensive documentation of the event, featuring carefully curated layouts, professional photography, and detailed descriptions. The catalogue serves as both an archive and a storytelling medium, bringing together visual and textual elements to showcase the exhibition’s unique exploration of light and glass art.
