About the map

Interactive 3D Warehouse Map

The model was realised as a part of BSS LogisQ website development. The goal was to showcase in a simple visual way which parts of the warehouse are supported by BSS LogisQ software. We decided on creating Interactive 3D Map that will allow user to click on presented marks and read the details in a popup window.

Preperation of the model required the following skills:

– Hard surface modeling based on grid
– Interpreting warehouse workflow into 3D schematic
– Animation using keyframes and action stripes
– Looping animation
– Scene staging and lighting

Macrix Technology Group is a boutique software house building bespoke solutions for heavy industry – metalworking, mining, automated warehousing. The identity grew in-house, one small piece at a time – mailings, two-pagers, flyers, social posts – and the 25th anniversary was the point where it consolidated into a full concept.

It was built to carry three things: the stability required to write code for heavy industrial systems, software treated as a physical material, and adaptability, drawn from the company's bespoke work and its move to bring AI into it. The sequence below traces that idea in five steps – from raw binary to a solid solution and back to a fluid, adaptable state, with steel refining as the visual reference.
